Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum age for children to visit Egypt?
There is no minimum age. We regularly work with families travelling with infants, toddlers, and teenagers. We adjust the itinerary, pacing, and activities to suit all ages in the group.
Is Egypt safe for children?
Yes. Tourist areas in Egypt are very family-friendly. Idea Travel provides private transport throughout, so you're never navigating public spaces with young children independently.
What activities will children enjoy in Egypt?
Camel rides at the Pyramids, entering a real pharaoh's tomb, Nile felucca boat rides, papyrus-making workshops, Red Sea snorkelling, and seeing mummies at the Grand Egyptian Museum are consistently the most exciting for children.
Can the itinerary be paced for young children?
Absolutely. We build in rest days, pool afternoons, and flexible morning starts. Our family itineraries typically visit 2–3 sites per day maximum, not 5–6 like group tours.
Do you offer family-friendly hotels?
Yes. We partner with family suites and connecting-room hotels throughout Egypt, including resort properties in Hurghada and Sharm El-Sheikh with dedicated kids' clubs and pools.
